If your family is anything like me and mine, you haven't completely planned out this weekend, either! And, if you're all grown adults (minus the cutest little toddler), you might be struggling to find something to do that won't be completely crowded with babies in their Sunday best.
Below, I've compiled my top 5 events in and around the city that may or may not have you "oohing" and "ahhing" all weekend long.
1. Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop, March 31, 11am-4pm
This Easter egg hunt is hosted yearly at Sprayberry High School. It is free to attend and there is ample free parking. If you have a little one and haven't scheduled an egg hunt yet, get over there! It's going on until early evening, so should be able to make it work on such short notice. Click the link to find a time that works for you.
2. April Fool's Comedy Night, April 1, 7pm and 9pm
Enjoy some great laughs, food trucks and hand-crafted beers provided by the hosts The Decatur Arts Alliance and Three Taverns Brewery. The link above states tickets are $25 and include: a brewery tour, Three Taverns selections, and a tasting glass. Drink responsibly, please and thank you.
3. Orchid Daze, through April 8
America's favorite plant is on display in full force at this annual event planned by the Atlanta Botanical Garden. I love orchids, so I can't believe I'm going to miss this, but please attend and send me so many pics. The link above will let you choose your date and time.
4. Day of the Juice Craft Beer Festival, March 31, 1pm-5pm
Modern Hops Productions is hosting what seems to be an amazing event at Monday Night Garage! If I loved beer, like I know soo many of you do, I'd be down to pound down a few with you. But, since I'm not, click the link and invite your friends out for an afternoon of beer-filled, safe debauchery.
5. Blacklight Easter Egg Hunt, Influencers Church Cumming, 12:30pm
They've set this event up like the ultimate carnival. With bouncy houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, Easter egg hunts, Easter bunny and more, you're bound to find a good 3 events to enjoy. There are multiple times to hunt and you have to sign your family up, so hurry to the link and save your spot!
Did you find an awesome event I missed? Comment below! I'll add it to my "things to do" for next year, if I can't squeeze it in.
