The perfect body is something so many of us are striving to achieve. It’s one of the most wanted and least attainable attributes of a human-being. We each try our hardest to love who we are and be okay with where we are but it’s not easy.
You can’t force yourself to love something that you hate, or someone you hate. And, hating yourself should never be an option. You can’t hate yourself for something that no one else has achieved, either.
The only thing you can do is be the best you. Start something new. Try something you’ve never done. Hot yoga is super trendy; all yoga, really. Find something that keeps you active, motivated and progressing in your self-love. Once you find that thing, don’t let it go, because once you do, it’ll be hard to get it back.
A daily workout routine is something crucial and you can’t take that time for granted. Nothing should penetrate that time for yourself. Carve it out, tell your friends and stick to your guns. No, you can’t go out after work, you still have to hit the gym. Sorry, mimosa Sundays has to be pushed back, you have a busy day today and you won’t have time to lift later. It’s not an excuse, it’s a duty. You have to put yourself and your health first in order to succeed. Not everyone will understand, at first, but that can’t deter you from your ultimate goal.
You are worth the sacrificed wine and the forgotten movie night. Your real friends aren’t going anywhere. But, those love handles are going, going, GONE.
