Happy Thanksgiving! The holidays have officially arrived and with tomorrow being Black Friday, I thought today was the perfect day to show y'all my Christmas list! Instead of having you scroll through multiple gift guides, I decided to put everything all in one. You'll find gifts for your man, your mom, your best friends, your cousin, and even yourself! (Please don't forget to gift yourself this year!) I tried to keep all items under $200 so you have a range of gift options to choose from. No matter who you're shopping for this year, there's something for them on this list!

It is more important than ever in 2019 to look after our planet and every living creature who resides on it. When it comes to being more eco-friendly and conscious in life it is important that we take those little steps in everything we do. The smallest changes can make a huge impact on the world around us and every single person counts when it comes to helping our planet stay healthy and strong. Today we are taking a look at some of the simple things you can change in your life to be more eco-friendly this year.

If you’re like me, you’ve watched enough reality tv to be just a little intrigued about colonics. It’s apparently the thing to do! But what exactly is it…. And what does it do? Well, a colonic is the cleansing of the colon with pure water. That’s basically it. You lay back for an hour and clean your body from the inside out. Literally.

The plastic crisis has been widely publicized, entire ‘islands’ of the material have washed up in the ocean and it’s even starting to enter the human food chain. It can take up to a thousand years for some kinds of plastics to degrade, and while some can be recycled this alone takes a lot of energy (often involving using fossil fuels) and not all types can be reused. One way we can do our bit for the environment is to use less plastic- here are a few simple ways to help out!

Maybe it was the promise of a good Menage a Trois, One Night Stand or a little Sloppy Toppy. Maybe us Atlantans are ready for something other than wings and BBQ. Or just maybe, a food truck turned restaurant with the name Slutty Vegan is just way too enticing to pass up. Whatever it is, Slutty Vegan got everyone on their slutty behavior and #Sluttified all who came out for a taste.

It's no secret by now that I live for discovering new Georgia-based products, brands and entrepreneurs so I was too excited when I was invited to the opening of Kim Painter Chesney's encaustic art exhibition. If you need a refresher on what encaustic art is, click here.

One thing you probably didn't know about me is that I have played classical bass since the age of 14. Classical music has it's way of putting a smile on my face and joy in my heart. But, I actually haven't included this musical genre in my life for some time so it was a huge eye- (and ear) opening experience to enjoy a concert by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO).

I love exploring new brands and meeting the creators behind them. I was surrounded by a whole bunch of #girlpower and could not have been more elated. I have a soft spot in my heart for all this local and organic, but I have an even bigger spot for female creators making a name for themselves.

Sunday night I received an email invitation to the 10th annual Atlanta Eco-Lifestyle Trunk Show in Buckhead! This was so up my alley, it's not even funny. I had to jump on it. For my first media invite to be for a show about sustaining the environment, I knew right then, I made the right decision to jump into blogging and freelancing.  I was overjoyed at what this show would be, having never been, and it turned into an amazing experience where I met some crazy talented business owners, tasted some all-natural foods and bought some beautiful, organic home and body products. Listed below is every company I spoke with Tuesday night, what they offer and where you can stalk them. Enjoy finding some new, all-natural, eco-friendly businesses to support. I know, I did.
